According to an article by Michael McWhertor via Polygon on September 2nd, 2014, "Quantic Dream's PlayStation 3 adventure game Beyond: Two Souls might be the latest game making a generational leap. Trophies for a PlayStation 4 version of the game have recently appeared on achievement-tracking web site Exophase.

Sony Computer Entertainment hasn't announced a PS4 port of Beyond: Two Souls, but Exophase says it pulls its trophy data from Sony's PlayStation Network. The PS4 trophy listing is separate from the existing PS3 version of the game.

Quantic Dream confirmed last year that it was developing an unnamed PS4 title, but indicated at the time that its next-generation game was something new. "Innovation is part of our DNA," Quantic Dream co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumière said. "We've never duplicated ourselves. We never clone ourselves or other people's projects; we always try to create unique experiences."

An older article by Ben Kendrick on GameRant stated, "This isn’t the first time that we’ve heard rumors of Beyond: Two Souls coming to the PS4; however, the latest report adds some intriguing pieces of information. According to a post on the french gaming site Gameblog, Quantic Dream is preparing Beyond: Two Souls for a next-generation release – in the form of a “Director’s Cut” that will feature improved visuals as well as deleted scenes. The posting does not go into too much detail but asserts that the previously included “Advanced Experiments” DLC would be in the package along with a new story chapter that takes place when Jodie is a baby.

Sony and Quantic Dream have yet to confirm that Beyond: Two Souls will be made available on the PS4 – much less confirmed that the release will be a Director’s Cut with deleted scenes."
