David Cage at Comi-Con in 2012
David Cage is the pseudonym of David de Gruttola (born June 9, 1969), a French writer and video game director. He served as the writer and director of Beyond: Two Souls. He was also the writer and director of Omikron: The Nomad Soul, Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain: The Casting, Heavy Rain, The Taxidermist, "Kara," "The Dark Sorcerer," and Detroit: Become Human, and is the founder and co-CEO (along with Guillaume de Fondaumière) of the game development studio Quantic Dream.
